Forget weatherproof! NEAR's A-Series Armadillo loudspeakers are environment-proof. No other speaker can endure Mother Nature's extremes and keep on sounding and looking great. That's why the Armadillos are as likely to be found indoors in demanding commercial installations as they are in back yards poolside on a porch or inside your home. Yet it is sound quality that ultimately sets them apart. Because like all NEAR speakers the Armadillos feature Metal Diaphragm Technology (MDT) and Magnetic Liquid Suspension (MLS) which in addition to delivering superior sound also provide greater reliability in outdoor use. A-Series models are available in 8-ohm 70V and 100V versions in green black or white. The compact A2 models are designed for smaller spaces. Their high audio intelligibility and superb articulation make them ideal for music or paging applications. The A6 models are conveniently sized 2-way designs with high power handling for applications such as restaurants health clubs and patio and pool areas. The A8 models are high-output 2-way designs for larger spaces such as clubs auditoriums and theme parks.
